The teams outside the top 4 aren't good enough. Theres not enough good players in the Premiership. Simple as that.

I loved it when Getafe won La Liga last season, not to mention Palermo's championship winning side in Italy, NEC champions of the Netherlands, Metz success in France, etc.

don't make me dig up the figures of league titles won by Juve, AC, Inter, Real, Barca again.

I'd say Man City we're the weakest of the teams i'd singled out this season, as it's a new team and they haven't really had time to gel yet. As shown by the 6-0 spanking that Chelsea gave them.

Ollie, there are enough good players in first teams. It's about depth of squad. It'll be interesting what happens when the African Nations starts, as United and Liverpool will not suffer as badly as Arsenal, Chelsea, Pompy and Everton.

The football isn't good enough. But then that's an intrinsic problem with the English footballing mindset.

maybe that's why they didn't qualify?

maybe we should look at the variances in the champions of Russia and Croatia?

Personally I think all teams in the Premiership should have the same transfer funds so that it's a level playing field and all teams in the league can try and compete.
ha, how much should this be? name a figure.
