Oh, sorry. I'm sure PMLF will run you through Vasco's history, being a Rio de Janeiro citizen an all.

You didn't have luck. The average gaols per match in the brazilian League was about 2,86 I think.

Yes, something in that line. Rodrigo Hotti, maybe?

Yep. I think this his name.

I don't think he played any Brazilian League match though.

Yes. Santos made some very tricky buyings last season... Val Baiano, Rodrigo Hotti and that other guy, also a striker... very weird.

Marcelo Peabiru was the other guy. All failed.

I shall choose to support 'Guarany'.

'Cos it sounds a bit filthy.

Nobody has told me anything about Vasco.

Vasco, as like Flamengo, was founded as rowing club.

They were founded by the Portuguese community of Rio de Janeiro. They were also teh first team in Rio de Janeiro (and probably in the whole country) to accept black players. Because of that they were not allowed to participate in the regular state leagues in some years during the early 1920s.

In 1948, they won the Copa de Campeones (Champions' Cup), playing against River Plate (that River team was nicknamed La Maquina and was the best team in River's history). It wast he first serious international competition won by a Brazilian team. This Vasco teams was nickname "Expresso da Vitória".

Vasco won the Brazilian League in 1974, 1989, 1997 and 2000 and won teh State League 22 times (last time in 2003).

In 1998, Vasco won their most important title: Copa Libertadores. In the Intercontinental Cup they lost to Real Madrid though.

Great players have played for Vasco, like Roberto Dinamite, Bebeto, Romário, Edmundo and others.

Vasco's rivals are Flamnego, Vasco and Fluminense. Vasco si teh second most popular team in Rio de Janeiro (behind Flamengo).

Guarani is the name of them. Guarani is the name of a native South American population.

You're welcome.

By teh way, Cobi Jones stayed at Vasco for a while in the mid-1990s. He never played a match though.

Hmmmm. Maybe I should choose another team since I hate Cobi.

Who did Leonardo play for?

You are referring to teh one that hit Tab Ramosi n the 1994 WC and that was at Milan?

He played for Flamengo (his favorite team and Vasco's arch-rivals) and São Paulo.
