You'll won't find much information about Grêmio matches in Copa São Paulo de Futebol Junior because it's a U-21 tournament.

2-1 to Atlético Sorocaba (SP).

Inter is only on its mid-strenght. A lot of players able to compete are already in the professional team, such as Nilmar, Daniel Carvalho, Chiquinho, Cleitão, Diego and Diogo, and now 5 players of last year's youth first team have been promoted. So we are not with high expectations on this tournament, other than giving players experience.

Oh, and by the way: we beat Grêmio twice last year in that age category, one was even 4-0, so back off.

Do the seasons just completely run into each other in Brazil? I didn't even know the 2003 season was over.

So, how does it go. This tournament kind of kicks things off like you say. Then the state tournaments and Copa do Brasil go on at about the same time. Then the national leagues start in March or so. Is that about right?

It really is soccer all year 'round.
