drink less. its the only way. you cant "fix" a hangover, but you can help ease it. drinking a pint of water and taking some pain killers the night before helps, as does eating bananas the following morning. but there is no deffinitive "cure" for a hangover.
ive stopped drinking traditional UK pub lagers and opt for things like becks vier (only 4 ingredients, so no shitty chemicals) which means i dont feel rough any more.
i have used re-hydration salts in the past which also help a lot, but still need to go back to bed for a bit afterwards.

only really get hangovers if I only drink beer all night, generally just sleep it off for as long as possible then gorge on a disgustingly good fry-up
I saw them test this method on Brainiac, they said it was the best prevention method of the three they tried. In fairness i doubt one or two asprin is going to induce an overdose.
yeah stuff like ibuprofen will **** you up, but using regular paracetamol or anadin extra is fine.
saying that, ibuprofen in the morning ifb, if you take it at roughly the same time you're drinking then you're boned. i used to be able to get hammered on 2 pints when i was on 'fen, was on it for about 4 months for serious back problems.

water, water and more water.
preferably before you go to bed. I try to remember to down two pints. usually forget though.
That whole rasping experience when forgetting to down the water led to my dragging a bottle of lemonade to bed and leaving the cap off so's I didn't explode drinking it during the night.
