Could someone explain or point me towards an explanation of how the Xbox live subscription works, can you go a month at a time? Also what the MS points is.

Official xbox site is a bit scary.

I think Jetpac was the second game I ever played, after Chuckie Egg. CE's still good and I'd happily pay 400 points for that so I'm hoping this is the same.

Rare should hopefully do it justice given they kind of made it and they've got to.

By the month or by the year. Up to you. Most people buy a year as it saves faffing around.

£5 a month or £40 for the year, either buy through the console or prepaid annual subscription cards. You get a free month of Gold membership with a new console anyway, so you've got plenty of time to source a cheap yearly sub from somewhere.
