No, as the track will be lit up so it is just as bright as during the day, making the only difference the TV times. Yet I like there being some races at 4am

I don't understand how people get more enjoyment from getting up when it's dark to watch the race half asleep when you can have a lay in and get up, make some breakfast/lunch and then watch the race in more comfort.

I'd fall asleep by 4am and miss it myself.

Tbf, races that are on at night are repeated anyway, so it's not like you'd miss them (although the news reports often still show the results, oddly).

Only problem is they can really screw up my sleep pattern, but it's rubbish anyway.

I can't really explain it, I just find watching races in the middle of the night makes the whole experience better.
