Quite obvious McLaren gave them duff specs to take them out of title contention this year.
More penalties for McLaren are in order.

Typical FIA guff from them. I really really wish they weren't running F1.

FIA to sue the Sunday Times
By Jonathan Noble Friday, December 7th 2007, 14:03 GMT
The FIA intends to sue English newspaper the Sunday Times for libel, after the action was authorised by the World Motor Sport Council at its meeting today in Monaco.
A statement issued afterwards said the decision was taken because the newspaper had "ran an article claiming that the FIA was engaged in a witch-hunt against the McLaren-Mercedes team."
It is believed the matter refers to a column that former Grand Prix driver and ITV commentator Martin Brundle wrote on race day at the Italian Grand Prix.
It was headlined: "Witch-hunt threatens to spoil world title race" and was critical of the manner in which the FIA had handled the McLaren spying affair.
| Looks like Brundle's got the Sunday Times into a bit of trouble. Fair comment in my opinion. This was said before Mclaren were found to be guilty for the 2nd time. So he had no reason to believe it wasn't true.

Bernie will be pleased: Quote: Silverstone gets new pit wall
Friday, 07, December, 2007, 17:35
Silverstone has begun work on a new pit wall that will fully comply with the FIA's latest safety regulations.
The wall has been designed to withstand impact loads related to accidents involving speeds of 250kph.
The new wall features 10km of steel reinforcing bars, 1000 cubic metres of concrete and 330 metres of debris fencing and is being constructed during the Christmas break to ensure the circuit will re-open by the end of January 2008.
The venue's management released a statement on Friday, describing the update as "evidence of Silverstone’s commitment to continue to invest in the circuit and its facilities to bene fit competitors, teams and fans."
They also confirmed that the new pit wall project is a separate from the British Racing Drivers’ Club’s 'Master Plan' – the long-term strategy being put in place to secure the venue's date on the Formula 1 calendar beyond 2009 | |

Went to the F1 shop in Meadowhall today for the first time since the summer floods. Has a lot more new stuff in at the moment, floods seem to have been the best thing that could have happened. Managed to resist buying a signed Mika montage for £149 somehow luckily, restricted my spending to £25.
