Personally I think thats Barry's best position.

I'd even be tempted to try him at centre half again.

Barry's better at left-back imo, both individually and for the good of the shape of the team. Unfortunately with Berger always injured that leaves us with, um, Peter Whittingham

Berger's more injury prone than Johnny Wilkinson, so we can't rely on him to be a regular starter.

The annoying thing is that that team is much better than the team that was close to European qualification a couple years back.
