Whats up with Dalek's ?
nothing.... but in moderation. in 2 series what? 4-5 episodes where they appear?
thats about a quarter of the episodes, its too lazy tbh, create new enemies or bring back other old ones. </BLOCKQUOTE>
The BBC had a three year deal with the owners of the Daleks, it took a long time to get them to agree to let them use the Daleks in the new series, so they were going to get their moneys worth. </BLOCKQUOTE>
3 year deal or not quality is always > quantity

Torchwood was on the whole excellent although the Welsh bird was a bit annoying. Your comments therefore are the opposite of Torchwood. On the whole wrong.
I found that Torchwood had far too much sex and swearing. If it adds to the plot in some way that is fair but to me it just seemed like a misguided attempt to be adult. Sex and violence alone doesn't make a show adult, it is themes, ideas and issues, the way that you deal with them that do.
Also Torchwood being a top secret organization is laughable. Security is non-existant and they would attract less attention if they drove around in the Batmobile for chrissakes!

Torchwood may no longer be a secret organization. The events of recent years (Aliens crashing through Big Ben, Sycorax flying over London, The Battle of Canary Wharf) would have alerted the wilder world to the existence of forms outside of earth, and Torchwood may have become more known.

Well said that man! Torchwood is pretty dire, I watched five or six episodes at various points in the series and found myself either cringing at the 'adult' content or just aghast at the dreadfully unoriginal writing.

I remember reading something back after the end of S2 that Jack will appear towards the end of season 3, then be a mainstay again until the end of the season.
