It continued to be a policebox as a result, because the Chameleon circuit failed. It's been fixed before, but has then failed again, and it's also been suggested that the Doctor has since become quite affectionate towards how it looks on the outside so doesnt really want to fix it.
| oh i know that ive seen an unearthly child to episode 4 where Hartnell kidnaps the two teachers ( )
but i have to rely on the DVD releases to see the older episodes (UK gold seem to have replaced them with ninth & tenth doctor episodes)& just wondered if he'd landed in hull in the older series or something |

| yes David Tennent has the potential to be the best Doctor, just shading Tom Baker if he stays 7 he gets the right scripts
which brings me onto this (not exactly a credible source but still worrying) |

Never watched Torchwood, apart from a bit where a bloke boned an alien and was sucked into her fanny. I'd assume Torchwood search records for keywords relating to the Doctor? Am i wrong?
| Torchwood was set in Cardiff
basically Dr Who with sex but it was quite naff tbh a bit too "ooo he said c0ck"

Cant see him staying on after S4, will be absolutely gutting but I when Ecclestone left I didn't think we would get anyone better.
I always want to buy older DVD's of Dr Who but they seem so exspensive...where's the best place to get them from?

does it matter
Anyway as has been said, thats the way to do the doctor lite episode,
great standalone story,
But if you want to go far too deep, it does raise some interesting questions about free will in the doctors universe, if future events are set in stone even for the doctor, then how much control does he or anyone else have over there actions
