nothing.... but in moderation. in 2 series what? 4-5 episodes where they appear?

thats about a quarter of the episodes, its too lazy tbh, create new enemies or bring back other old ones.

I'll watch the show but I'm not very optimistic that it'll be any good.

The previous series concentrated too much on Rose and her family. Also I thought that the stories were too simplistic and well puerile. As for the pop culture references!

I know that the series has succeeded in now small part because of the soap opera elements and pacing, however Doctor Who can be a lot more complex and challenging, without losing the all important ratings.

Oh and I see that Chris Chibnall is writing a story. He wrote all of the worst Torchwood stories (some feat considering Torchwood was crap). I expect his latest effort to be a contender for this seasons worst story.

The BBC had a three year deal with the owners of the Daleks, it took a long time to get them to agree to let them use the Daleks in the new series, so they were going to get their moneys worth.

Torchwood was on the whole excellent although the Welsh bird was a bit annoying. Your comments therefore are the opposite of Torchwood. On the whole wrong.
