I used to think that it wouldn't be the Master, but they're throwing in so many references and using the word 'Master' so often, I find it rather hard now to believe anything else (the Valeyard, for example, would be fun but bloody difficult to explain to the series' newcomers).

The screencap of the Doc's scribblings of his past incarnations is brilliant. I thought Eccles was one of them at first glance, though McCoy is even better (one of my fave Doctors). I'm wondering who the other three are, the two at the bottom could be Davison and Troughton, the one on the top right is rather odd. Ideas?
