| Really wouldnt ask me. I just have vague memories of Who from when i was a child .
I'm pretty much like you, tried to learn a lot recently since it came back because i'd forgotten how much i'd loved it.

But maybe he was meant to save these peoples lives when he travels, but like Gregg and Jearm i've only just started to into the show more, wiki is a wonderful thing

Some of you are thinking about the plots far too much. Treat it like I do - the show is meant to be escapism and entertainment. If you watch it on that level you'll never get bothered by the glaring plot holes that have riddles the series ever since 1963.

| but the fun of DR who are the plot holes, parodox's & butterfy effects & debating them
ofc you do also need to chill out and watch them before doing that

iirc, the books explain some of the concepts of time travel and how the Doctor and his companions are shielded from the effects of the changes he makes. I say 'iirc' as I haven't read one for 20+ years, though they still have a place in my book collection.
