What others said about pitch sizes and other nonsense. 01/02 full update next week
| I'm still gutted that I gave my copy away because it wouldn't run on XP about 2 days before I found out about the 'run as Windows 98' (or something along those lines) options.
I'll probably buy FM08, but not holding on to any great hopes for it - I just find FM too boring and random (in respect to trying to find tactics that work consistently) now. FM07 only kept me playing for more than a season once, and even then, I gave up halfway through the third season.

There's no more pausing to make tactical changes
| have you ever seen sir alex hit a big pause button during a game?
you can always have all your tactics pre done and change them within a few clicks to pre-saved ones as the game goes on
That sounds really ****.

It's a game. Think people are forgetting that.

You would need an infinite amounts of tactics to have one saved for every differnet scenario.
The pause, change, restart was fine as it was. Don't see any eason why that's been changed. Didn't hear a load of people complaining about it either.

I hope there's going to be a 'pause' option, even if you can't do tactics in it. What if I need the loo during the second half?

the match flow thing with no pausing for tactical changes is just an option that can be turned on or off in the preferences menu, it's really nothing to get your knickers in a major twist about. some people will enjoy it, others will want to keep things as they are, everyone's a winner.

You can still pause it if you want to, it just doesn't automatically pause it for you any more.

Yeah, Sir Alex's games last longer than fifteen minutes.

Aye, that ruled !
Used to spend hours setting up all my passing triangle only to find out when I was at SI that it made no difference whatsoever to the match engine |
