The way the game does f-all unless you spend a while on the grass you are gaining ad advantage cos you get to take a better, faster line. I guess the testers realised this and put a corner cut there. Great shame they didnt think Oh well if it happens there it probably happens elsewhere lets do something crazy like make iut effect your speed if you hit the grass anywhere.
