Considering I'm yet to turn 17, I've only played a little proper Sunday football. I've started 2 cup games for my dads team and had bench duty quite a few times.

I play for my 6th form team (which is every other Saturday), and we managed to make the final of the local cup  with me playing upfront (I normally play DM!) due to an injury crisis, we only had 1 other fit striker.
I scored one in the 2-0 away leg victory, and got the vital flick-on in the 1-0 home win in the other leg for our goal
Final's 20-something'th of January. MON
I'm most likely gonna be back at DM for that match.
When I turn 17 on Xmas Eve I'm eligible to start for the Sunday League team in the league (U17's can only start cup games for some reason).

question on this.
in scotland amatuer football is mainly played on a saturday. which i did for 20 odd years, never played on a sunday my whole time.
so is it only amatuer football on a sunday in england or do you play saturdays as well?

Both. I think Sunday might just be pub football? Seems to be where I live 'cos everyone just plays Saturdays that I know
