Can still join, can join at anytime Daniel.

Sorry Ned, didn't see your predictions, will sort that out and add your points to next weeks table rather than posting a new table now.

I see Carlisle have managed to sack their manager already!

Quote:
Carlisle United have sacked manager Neil McDonald after just one match of the new League One season.

McDonald had taken over at Brunton Park in June 2006 following Paul Simpson's move to Preston, and led the Cumbrians to eighth place last season.

The shock move was revealed in a statement on the club's website.

"The board of Carlisle United regret to say that they have lost confidence in Neil McDonald and are terminating his contract forthwith," it read.

"They thank him for his hard work at the club and wish him all the best for his future career. Greg Abbott has been appointed as caretaker manager."

The dismissal comes just two days after the Cumbrians began the new season with a 1-1 draw at Walsall - having broken their transfer record to sign Blackburn striker Joe Garner for £140,000 on Friday.

Hah, it's some good work there, definitely. We've had a semblance of stability for far too long. Everyone is just baffled. Something must've happened between the game and today, shurely?

Madness.

Wolves have agreed a deal to sign full-back Kevin Foley from Luton Town.

The League One club have accepted an undisclosed offer from Wolves for the defender, who has made over 160 appearances during his time at Kenilworth Road.

Foley sat out Luton's 2-1 win at home to Hartlepool United on Saturday and is now poised to move to Molineux.

A three-year contract has been agreed for the former Republic of Ireland Under 21 international and he will undergo a medical in the next 24 hours.

Mick McCarthy outlined the qualities that he expects Foley to bring to the Championship club.

"Kevin is a young, bright, attacking full-back who will give us added competition for places," the Wolves boss told the club's official website.

"He is hungry to do well and the sort of player who meets the club's aspirations."
