Just to say, we wont be relegated this year either :p
I said we wouldn't go down last season, it is wise to listen to me
Our Christmas/New Year fixtures are a bit ****:
26th Dec - Swansea - Away
29th Dec - Tranmere - Away
1st Jan - Port Vale - Home
5th Jan - Brighton - Away
Only one game for me in the festive fixtures
We've offered Kris O'Leary from Swansea a 3 year deal. Hope he accepts, would be a brilliant signing.
Also, Gonch you finished 13th on 112 points. I'm willing to run the predictions league again if enough people are interested

Don't think we'll do as well this year as we did last, although I think we should finish mid table at least.
Our best XI at the moment:
Mildenhall
Jones
Forbes
Skiverton
Lynch
Davies
Cohen
Barry/Kalala
Gray
Stewart
Morris

Chock full of local goodness :thdn:
| 22nd - H tranmere
26th - A bristol rovers
29th - A Port Vale
1st - H Yeovil
5th - A Bounemouth
ridiculous leength of journies for both our travveling fans and yeovil and tranmere fans, attendances for those game all to be far below club averages I'd reckon

Oh, for Leeds fans:
March 14 2001 - Leeds 3-3 Lazio
March 11 2007 - Cheltenham vs Leeds Brilliant!
Our starting line-up as it stand:
GK - Higgs
DR - J. Gill
DL -
DC - Duff
DC - Townsend
MR -
ML - S. Brown (From Oct/Nov, till then leave blank)
MC - Bird
MC - Finnigan
SC - Gillespie
SC - Connor
If O'Leary signs then push Bird to MR and put O'Leary in the middle. We need to sign some left sided players!
Craig Reid to feature more this season, looked awsome in his few minutes at the back-end of last season

Rovers best XI for me this coming season:

Neil SullivanJames O'ConnorGraeme LeeAdam LockwoodGareth RobertsKevin HorlockJames Coppinger Brian StockMartin WoodsPaul HeffernanJames Hayter

New signings are James Hayter, £200k from Bournemouth, and Martin Woods from Rotherham, who activated his relegation release clause.
According to our manager we are still in the market for a central defender, we are supposed to be in for Martin Cranie whose contract at Southampton is up, and some utility-ish player. Personally I'd like to see us get shut of Gareth Roberts at left back and sign someone else.

thats an awesome team. i really hope you go up this year- Sean o'driscoll did so well for us (Bournemouth) for so long it'd be nice to see him manage at a higher level. it does, however, looking at that, depress me at just how many bloody amazing players we've had to sell recently to survive. i can see us struggling this year, but not going down... just |
