I wonder if Clarke Carlisle would sign for us, he isn't going to get into Watford's team at the minute. If we had had him on loan all season...

I also hope Kevin Nicholls comes back although thats unlikley.

I don't like the rumours of Paul Furlong but Sean Gregan and Kevin Gallen may be alright.
no chance of Carlisle and Nicholls, wages both far too high for us even in chmapionship yet alone league 1, I;ve heard Nicholls is on his way to Watford as he wants local side but Luton can't afford even what he was paid last time he was at the club </BLOCKQUOTE>

What a traitor he would be !
I would really like us to sign Asamoah or McLeod but would they come to Luton or would Blackwell sign them as they are very very inexperienced.

Out of all the matches witch fixture do you just look at and know your club will lose that match this season?

I see the match against Tranmere at home just before Xmas the one that I know we will lose because of the time of the year.

fancy forest to win it this season. confident that we will stay up comfortably, as someone said we only went down due to the playoff curse and one of the worst managers i have ever seen in club football.

leeds to go down again please and lose 7-0 on boxing day  should be hilarious to see them at little old hartlepool.

Yeah, Hartlepool won't go down, somewhere between 8th and 13th for us.

Playoffs are a long shot, but we can always hope.

Mid-table mediocrity as usual I should imagine for the mighty Port Vale.

GK: Anyon

LB: Edwards
CB: Pilkington (c)
CB: Lowe (loan from Wolves)
RB: Miller

LW: Whitaker
CM: Rocastle
CM: Hulbert
RW: Tudor

SC: Rodgers
SC: Richards/Sodje

Not enough goals in that side.

Well it's a very reluctant hello to League One, after suffering a depressing relegation last season. I don't somehow see us repeating the feat of 2005/06 by winning the league, if anything I think we may be a very average mid-table side.

With Freddy Eastwood almost certain to leave for Wolves that should give us a bit of money to strengthen the squad, god knows we need to. We've only signed one player so far in the shape of Charlie MacDonald from Ebbsfleet (previously Gravesend), he was quite a prolific striker in the Conference, whether he can do it at this level is another thing.

We've definitely got to bring in some defenders seeing as Spencer Prior has retired and Efe Sodje has been released.

This season will be the make or break of Steve Tilson, personally speaking I don't think he'll last the season.

My predictions are:-

Champions: Doncaster
Runners-up: Nott'm Forest
Play-offs: Oldham, Millwall, Tranmere

Relegated: Leyton Orient, Cheltenham, Bournemouth, Northampton

Boxing day - the best day of the year for football and Millwall are home to Brighton. Not the best journey for them, but could have been worse.
