Oh my nbrocky. If that is the standard of new teams in this game then they are never going to expand.

| I had planned to pick up a batting YP for next season but having dropped Eagle for now whilst his PFL suffers from his training i decided i'd have one last shot at a halfway decent batter to replace the woeful make up the numbers player who was batting.
Getting him was a great was expecting a med/comp again and his wicket too was a major bonus.

Heswall is your challenge an elite league game, because if it is I'd like to put it off a week as I really need to rest players this weekend.

I can't recall the exact details but most were set to attacking probably

@nbrocky:
You are not wrong about your batting line-up. It lacks any sort of depth.
Right, let's go in order: Rubbish players
OK, none of the following players have any redeemable qualities, and won't fetch a penny on the transfer market. Thus, you must fire them as soon as possible:
Crainey, Chris, Chapman, Dlulane, Eagles, Mcinally & Shearer Bowlers
I count seven bowlers in your squad. No doubt that Eade is your star man, followed by Dancy. I'd then play Selly, Blakeman & Ross, with Knight as backup. Wallis might fetch a few bob on the transfer list - his stamina and consistency are too poor for him to be effective. The rest
That leaves six players, all of whom could do a job. Only that three of them are more wicketkeepers than batsmen.
Your best WK is Warne, but his batting is poor, and a better medium-term option is Bromby. Folds isn't that great, but his concentration could be useful.
Your out-and-out batsmen are Woold, Dyer and Longmead.
Basically, you need a few players with competent+ batting/bowling and mediocre+ concentration/consistency. Also, feeble stamina is the minimum you should be having.
These lower limits are also what you should be looking for in trainees; there should be a few bargains around, even for 17 year olds.

Cougar, I accepted your challenge.
I also just realised I am only one of two V teams in my Sunday league so won't be expecting much from that.

No training pops for me this week, although I think my Captain's experience popped to 'feeble'.
