Try him on different settings. Just because he's on defensive doesn't always mean he'll stay in longer (one of my batsmen plays better and stays in longer on attacking).

Does anyone still believe that the pitch bug is just a display bug?

If my calculations are correct, my bowlers should function reasonably well on a green pitch (my two medium pacers especially). The ground page of my opponents says it's green, but the commentary says flat.

Currently my medium pacers figures are:
Muckle 2-0-19-0 (Career Econ of 3.58)
Murdoch 4-0-25-0 (Career Econ of 4.04)

Now their batting is pretty decent, but both these bowlers are on the orders they ususally preform best on.
