Brown isn't being built up, he may have been the top face in the company earlier this year, then he turned and bombed. Only now is he beginning to recover.

Eh, me too. Not bought any of the ROH stuff from 2004 onwards. Just found the matches tended to bleed into each other far too much.

For all the detractors, Dixie Carter hit the nail right on the head. WCW/WWE war, 14m combined viewers. WWE now, nowhere near half that.

TNA has a great chance. The stuff I've seen, definitely liked.

Hate to break it to you, but Brown has had squash matches on Impact before. He may well get up near the top, but the fact that they didn't give him the belt the first time shows they may not be as confident in him as you think.

At a PPV sometime they should have a brutal Championship match and after cena wins, edge should come out and use his money in the bank match!

All about timing.

Push Brown as champ with the smaller audience on FSN, run the risk of the character becoming stale.

Far higher available audiences, with his charisma making him majorly over with the crowd, yeah, of course he'll never do anything.

The fact they didn't give him the belt at the time was of course totally unrelated due to the fact his contract had expired - like they'd repeat the stupidity of WCW, Meng, hardcore title, eh? As if McMahon wouldn't have offered big money to get the TNA titleholder... since Brown has the physique he likes.
