How the hell can anybody reckon Orton will get the title?

Aside from being owned by UT for how many years now, you're forgetting McMahon's ability to capitalise on Eddie's death. Watch Batista defend the title successfully in "honour of his fallen friend", as WWE scriptwriters will deem it.

Batista's back injury is being overblown. it's not been decided if he needs surgery or not yet.

Surgery, 3 months out, they don't necessarily have to switch the title off him. All they'd need do is run it as a Raw wrestler injury, hence justifying not stripping of the title. Keep him around for ngles, just not wrestling.

ffs, all the reports are that he died in his hotel room. Nothing more, nothing less. It could be absolutely anything, hell, the substances taken to give him the extra muscle mass over his WCW days can easily weaken the walls of the heart. Yet people jump to a conclusion...

No one has jumped to conclusisions. No one said it was drugs. We are just wondering what could hav caused it and drugs has obviously come up what with his past and all. I really hope its not drugs though.
