For those who have asked, Christian's quitting WWE is not a work. He worked his last match for WWE last night at the Smackdown taping in Los Angeles. He was in negotiations for a new contract, as I believe his old one expires today, and did not like the terms he was being offered from WWE and turned down the deal. From what I have heard, his leaving took at least some people in WWE management by surprise. On the flip side, we have been reporting for months now that Christian was not happy with the way WWE was using him, especially after they brought him to the cusp of main event status, only to push him back down the card. So to others in the company, his turning down WWE's offer wasn't a surprise at all. WWE has already pulled down his bio on the Smackdown page. It's also interesting to note that unlike what they have done with others in the past, they did not wish him well on the page when they announced his left the company.

Just when the thought the WWE couldnt get any worse....we have the utterly shambolic Vinny Mac sketch from last week and now SD's only reason for watching is gone. A new low :thdn:

I'm delighted Christian has left WWE. He is my favourite wrestler and to see him steam roll his way towards the main event to have him dragged back down when he has the talent, mic skills and the crowd loved him was insane.

Lets hope he goes to TNA. I can see him being a world champ there.

I liked the McMahon promo tbh

But crap news about Christian. Not a surprise in the slightest though.

Christian was one of the only wrestlers that I truely enjoyed. He was fffb. This is an appalling decision. With the right push he could easily of carried the title and made a great heel champ.

He was the only wrestler who really entertained the crowd and you really need that since the rock left. TNA i hear wont be able to use 'Christian's name too

I really do hate McMahon now.
