quesiton for betfair users:
a guy posted something about the market being 67% or something for a selection and that meant he could make money on it no matter what happened.
does this work for laying? because im looking at a market which is 74% at the moment with odds of 10, 5.9, 4.5, 4. thats for laying.

Depending on the firm/event, bookmakers price up markets to a percentage, 109% is about standard. The 8,9, 10% is there profit margin.

Basicly, to answer to your question, you need to lay over 100% to secure a profit. Hope this makes sense.

when i hover my mouse over it, it says "....on occassion the % could go below this (100%), in which case you could theoretically back every selection to guarantee a profit".

is that only with backing then?
