I doubt the Jags will have Leftwich as a starting QB in 2008, but for this year they have little option but to stick with him. They will draft a QB next year rather than upset what is basically an a winning team with a decent outside shot at the playoffs. Also, in a weak division they have a shot at a wild card spot. therefore their front office is unlikely to gambe by putting Garrard in half way through the season without a good reason.

He'll lose it either by getting injured, or by the fact he'll get blamed for our recievers doing a crap job. I reckon we'll draft a QB in the third round aswell. The thing about Leftwich is he just doesn't have the support of the majority of fans, and Garrard is a more exciting player, so this year Leftwich is going to have to win the fans back. If we don't make the play-offs, he's gone, but if we're on course to win the division through the season he'll be re-signed to a big deal.
