water marks from sweating will appear on players' shirts. AT LAST! well played konami.
what i want to know is, does the revamping of graphics mean they have taken out the goal celebrations where players plunge their arms through each others' bodies? i find that strangely satisfying, in a slasher-movie kind of way.
Not sure if it still does, but FIFA used to have a button which made a nearby player on your team make a run. That would improve Pro Evo no end - it's frustrating only being able to trigger a run just after releasing the ball, as part of an intended 1-2. I should be able to stand there with my fullback and send the winger on a run without giving him the ball first.
Having said that, online players would use that to make their "bung it down the touchline every single f**king time to stupidly advanced wing forwards" style even more one-dimensional.
If Konami haven't managed to get a handle on some of those game-wrecking online tactics, and made an effort to combat them, then they want shooting.

I know what you mean but I am not sure if I like the idea of a button that dictates whether a team-mate makes a run or not. Ideally the game would take attack and other relevant stats into account when determining how good or often a player makes forward runs.
So Lahm and C Ronaldo would be seen as players that are very adept at bombing forward and finding space so they should often be in good attacking positions, whereas your average player would not be as successful.

That was fb on the old Fifa games. Haven't played it properly for a while so i don't know if they still have it.
Playing down the wings would be ok if they full backs would stay in position. They usuaully go and stand where the CB's stand .
I wonder if this will first be released as Winning Eleven in Japan, for the PS3. I hope they keep it region-free so I can listen to Kabira's commentary.
They also have no concept of where opposition players are. They stand in the generic fullback position, whether or not there's a wing-forward standing in 10 metres of open space, right behind them. The sight of that happening and the thought of some oik putting it down to his amazing skill at the game makes me want to cull oiks.

Fixing the occurrences of the 'running at a weird angle = shoot miles over' shooting would be nice.
Yes, recognising that it's easy to ping off a shot at 90 degrees to your body, as long as you're on your strong foot, would be nice. Konami have probably been more concerned with incorporating club mascots and Mexican waves though.

I liked that feature, especially as you then had to weight and angle your pass rather than pressing a button and hoping that it went where you wanted it to go.
