I thought i was too harsh tbh. It's actually really satisfying the new slide tackling, as if you get across the ball first, you can take the player out without conceding a free kick. Used to give a FK if you took the player at any point.
Bored of Fifa already. It's all technically sound and plays fine, but it's dreary and soulless in comparison. Ahh well, every year.

Right, not much extra news. They've no idea about the PS demo but they say it's down to Sony entirely, as it's ready to go.
Just a lot of general talk. Fifa getting overpraised for taking massive leaps forward when it HAD to take massive leaps as the game engine was shat, and PES getting criticised for not doing the same when the engine is good and shouldn't be overhauled.
Agreeing with me on the fact that Fifa is all technically sound now but lacks the flow and fun of PES, as the animations are so complex that the response time is s**t.
People forgetting that every year everyone complains about PES early on and as they get used to it love it and never stop playing it. Fifa grabs you immediately and wears out so quickly (guilty as charged)
Basically, Fifa looks and is presented as next gen. PES plays far better without any next gen aspects imparticular. No new news there.
There MIGHT be 2v2 online.
They will be doing option files with complete kits et all for next-gen consoles aswell as PC and PS2.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My own view is that the AI is now so far ahead in PES from what i see, that i'm struggling to play Fifa (it's still good, okay?) as all good players play like generic goof d players, all weaker play as generic weaker......etc. After playing against CRonaldo and Messi in PES, it really shows up.

Ahhh right at the end he made the same point about Fifa. You just don't feel like you've got different players in your team with different attributes.

How does importing option files work on the 360? Do you need an xport type thing, like what was needed for ps2?
