I've not noticed the stuff PearlJam or Morto have mentioned.

I've not had a problem winning the ball through pressuring. I've found i need to make sure i'm in the right positions to be able to actually win the ball a lot more than previously, but then thatjust makes sense.

It's the old way of playing where holding down x and monging towards a player would win the ball. And you can easily hold players off going forward. Basically the tired old PES5 methods, no skill involved.

Old chestnut i know, but it counds like you're just s**t.

And watch CRonaldo play. He's always jinking and doing flicks when he plays. And he now has an end product. It's as if Konami ignored all tha.......oh sorry, they didn't.

Yeh would definitely agree with that Rats.

I've never been particularly great at PES myself, playing the demo, i quickly realised i couldnt keep playing the way i had played, i also realised that the way i had played wasn't really that practical in terms of a real sense.

Previously, it was easy to win the ball and to pass the ball upfield. Then, to counterbalance this, it was ridiculously difficult to shoot. Overly so in many instances.

I do think, that its easier to score now from a goalscoring opportunity, but still within realistic levels. The major difference this time is, that it's more difficult to actually get into those situations if you don't take time to think about it and use the right passing options.

No more constant passing up field, now, like in real life, you sometimes have to take a couple of steps back to make the all important steps forward.

By doing this, i've found my game flows a lot more naturally. I'm looking forward to the game and trying to find a team that will really work with the style of play that suits me now. Should be good fun.

yup, I completely agree with that after using all the teams available in the demo  as much as the radar has been a important tool in the game, I think it's even more important in this one as you have to watch for the runs from your team-mates so you can get the pass right

I know it was similar in the other PES games, but with the increased AI awareness from the computer, they are cutting out the through balls as they are nowhere near as potent as they were in the last few PES games. Found myself stopping, looking about and then passing

one slight problem, who is picking the default teams? Riquelme, Messi and Saviola on the bench for Argentina, Ronaldinho, Adriano and Ronaldo on the bench for Brazil? I know some didn't play in the recent Copa America, but come on

Yup. I always ingored the radar but right now i am half looking at my player with the ball and half looking at the radar for runs.

I find it harder to score from one on ones although that maybe because i have not been going for the simple finish like i would normally.

Same here. Im finding the aiming less sensitive compared to PES6. I normally do the same aiming I would on PES6 and the ball still is too close to the keeper and not in the bottom corner like on PES6.

I have actually scored a few headers from freekicks on this version which i am happy about. It was rare to score those freekicks on pes6, the only way was to only put a little power and you would chip it right under the keeper and it was a easy header. Can actually put proper deliveries in on this version and connect with a header.

One thing is i am struggling to put any curl on the ball so far.
