Through passes have been changed for the better mike. You can't just use them and expect a player to run on to every one, you have to properly pick your moments for a through ball.

It's made me realise how much I use through passes. I don't just use them to play players in behind the defence. Pretty much always use them when passing to my full backs to force them to push on. Bit annoying now when it gets played to my full backs feet.
Noticed a couple of times that my strikers bent their runs to avoid being offside, which is great. But when you play the through ball, it plays it towards the touchline as that's where the striker is heading at that point. Maybe I'm saying this too early, as I've only played it a few times, but I still don't feel there's enough control over where passes end up. At times if feels like it's more to do with hoping the game does what you want it to than timing or skill. </BLOCKQUOTE>
I am also a through-pass addict and I really like the new set-up. The AI runs now are far better. There were times in PES6 when the runner just didn't move at all and I'd have a couple of players zoning in on my passer.
