After the release of the PES 2008 demo on Xbox Live today I'm sure most PS3 and PC owners are wondering wherer their taster is and kicking themselves. Well don't worry we contacted Konami just for you to get the lowdown on the case of the missing demos.
Konami confirmed to us that the PC demo will be available early next week (Monday - Tuesday) so there are no worries there. However they do not have a definitive date for the Playstation Network. The PSN is updated every Thursday, so they suggested that PS3 owners may get their demo next Thursday. Once the demo's are handed over from Konami to Microsoft and SONY it is then up to them how quickly they pack it up and put it online for digital distribution. Fingers crossed SONY break the usual trend and treat PS3 owners preferably before the weekend.
We will remain in contact with Konami and follow up this situation. Rest assured W.E.N.B. has your back! Coming soon player stats screens from the demo.

heh. Anyway, PS3 demo will be out sometime between now and thursday. No idea about the digital downloads stuff.
And it's really quite good.

what is the name of the japanese stadium in the demo?
I know it's Japanese as after I choose the teams I want to play as a light in Japan lights up meaning that's where the match is taking place.
One thing I don't like is the Player name bar seems a bit too chunky and that player names have no consistency for example in Spain squad there is Fernando Torres and Villa, not David Villa. Surely they should all be in the same format?
The demo looks a lot better than PES 6.

| Guys on Evo-Web ripping into it saying it's too arcadey and fast. Looking at videos on Youtube, it does seem to be a bit too fast? True?

It depends on your style of play SilverX.
If you like to sit back, organise your defence and counter attack then it's too fast.
Some people like me prefer the faster gameplay.
It's a lot better than PES 6 and the players look lifelike.
