Are you really trying to put Iniesta ahead on the one thing that usually is considered Cesc's strength? Ballsy I'd say.

I'd choose Cesc mostly because he is a more complete midfielder IMO. Iniesta still great though even when played in some sort of wide position as he has been. They'll make a nice central midfield for spain in the future.

Just think, Barca could have a midfield of Iniesta, Fabregas, Xavi and Arteta if they weren't mugs.

Mikel clearly the best ofc.

C Ronaldo overrated
I'm a die-hard Liverpool fan.
I have one huge regret which will haunt me for all my days.... (not that it was within my control anyway)

About 6 years ago or so (IIRC), Gerrard Houllier was pointed in the direction of a young Kid plying his Trade (Apprenticeship?) at Sporting CP in the Portuguese Super League.
He had the opportunity to sign this young buck from Sporting for a mere compensation package of, I'd say, a few hundred K's (no great stretch for a side of Liverpool's calibre)...
Houllier turned down the opportunity due to the fact that the kid was "underdeveloped" and would not "adapt" to the English game. In his own professional opinion, you understand.

That kids name was Cristiano Ronaldo.

What a gimp, monsieur Houllier.
Still, you know best... </BLOCKQUOTE>

it was £4m actually GH then decided to think about it & utd stepped in a few days later. snooze & you loose.

Fabregas is the superior all-round midfielder, but isn't better than Iniesta? Doesn't make sense, really.

Fabregas has done far more for Arsenal and basically carried the team to where it is atm. That's considerably more than what Iniesta can show so far. That's a good enough reason too.

Iniesta (well he and Larsson) won the CL final for Barca. One champions league is considerably more than being top of the prem for a few months.

It isn't a good enough reason at all (and an untrue one at that). Pointless arguing it.
