Even though his/her back was turned. The assassin didn't look like Noah. Seemed to have black hair. Which automatically brought me to the assumption that it was Nathan's Mother but with her being on the phone straight afterwards watching it on tv put and end to that.

Seemed too narrow/slight to be Noah, West was actually my first thought, as he's a lanky streak of pish, don't see it being him though. Sylar an outside bet, as he at least has the right build. Of course, since we didn't see a face they can claim it was anyone, with perhaps a replay from another angle just using a different actor.
Really don't see how folks can complain about Kristen Bell being wasted when her character is just so ****ing awful.

| No, that's the point; wasted as in she's lumbered with this awful character and these scripts (after leading on a more cleverly written show), not wasted as in the character is under-used.

What a load of ****
I enjoyed it, but still it was garbage. Oh look, Syler is back.. the same guy from season 1, shocking and scary, never saw it coming. Clair storyline RUBBISH Nikki storyline RUBBISH, Adam/Hiro storyline could have been so much better, The stuff with Nathan at the end, again poorly done.
Volume two had about 2 good episodes.

Actually quite like Sylar now. He's grown into that role and it works quite well. What others said about Nikki's death being poop, but thank feck she's gone.
goon correct on the two good episodes front really. Onwards onto greater things hopefully. Parkman increasing his powers should be good, not sure where Hiro goes from here exactly but he's always interesting. Not that bothered about everyone else really.

Not bad, but like the rest of the series there was never any sense of danger or the feeling that anything really bad was about to happen. It was all a bit... lukewarm. Adam was at no point a remotely interesting or threatening big bad and the fact that his return is so dismally inevitable was utterly infuriating. I saw Nathan and Niki's 'deaths' a mile off, as they really hadn't been involved in anything important (and haven't even used their powers) and were clearly dead weight. I was rather hoping to see the end of Ando as well, because Hiro clearly doesn't need him around anymore. As for Sylar, I actually quite liked his slow return to power, though I was hoping the Maya/Alejandro plot would end when he got his abilities back. This show has developed the bad habit of refusing to definitely kill off anyone- although that does bode well for Linderman and Claude, both of whom I'd like to see return. If there's one character who has really come into his own this year, it's HRG/Noah, who has been twelve shades of awesome. Bit confused as to where the Haitian went though, unless I somehow missed an episode along the way.
Overall, the show really needs to regain the sense of urgency which marked the best episodes of the first season, as well as cutting out or replacing some of the lesser used characters. Hiro, HRG, Peter, Sylar, Mohinder, Bob and Angela (or whatever the mum's called, I always forget) Petrelli are at the moment the most important characters in the show and are at the heart of the show's most important plotlines. Characters like Claire, Micah, Monica, Ando, Matt, Elle... need to be relegated to supporting roles or removed completely IMO.

Linderman definitely 100% dead mate, sorry. DL removed part of his brain, not even an accelerated healing factor ala Claire/Adam is bringing him back. That was the point of his particular method of death.
