Fair enough fella. I'll still watch, and remain hopeful volume three moves it up a notch or three.

Really struggling with second series as there are just too many characters I don't like and even characters I didn't mind in series one are really starting to get on my tits.
Character just seem to be getting whingey and pathetic.

Well just watched ep10 - was better than i thought after reading comments on here, but still very average. How have the writers managed to lose everything that was so brilliant about Heroes.
And what it is with people whispering all the time

To the second? Because that's what you were asking him to do. The funeral was more just a general time, certainly didn't call for split second timing, while the rooftop scene with his father was hardly impeccable timing either, he arrived while his old man was arguing with Angela. We don't know exactly how Hiro's powers work yet, but I'm guessing arriving at a general time, within a few minutes of an event, is easier than arriving on an exact second. Granted, that's a huge assumption I'm making with absolutely no evidence to back it up, but it's safe to say that Hiro doesn't have a full grasp on his powers yet, that's how he ended up back in ancient Japan in the first place.
He hasn't used his time travel abilities as much as stopping time altogether, or teleporting, so he's still getting to grips with it all. Practise seems to make perfect though, as his attempt to find Adam in 1977 was a pretty good attempt.

Is Captain Marvel any good? I only ask as one of my friends from school is drawing it these days. And we thought he was wasting his time doing all those strange doodles...

Mike Kunkel? Shazam (as it's called these days due to copyright issues) isn't a big comic these days. In fact, it's been a fair long while since it last enjoyed any real success, WWII if I'm honest. Problem is, it's never really "grown up", it's still all about being a kid, while comics nowadays have a much older core audience sadly. DC roll it out about once a year in an attempt to bring the Marvel family back, but every year disappointing numbers mean it's gone and the team get posted elsewhere, only for someone to drag it up again the next year. It's an old staple, and the industry hate to retire those, if possible.

| yawn!
no gav I wasnt being literal when i said a second but in theory when he has gone to do something he could just arrive a few minutes or whatever later there is no need to make a big thing out of ANdo sat there bored waiting for hiro to return when the time he spends 'away' in the past or future is of no consequence to how long he is actually gone in the 'here and now'
you know what I mean but are just being a pedant, picking up on the that fact i used the word seocnd and actually ignoring the overall point I made because I am right.
