I thought heroes origins is after the second season so in a years time.

It seems confusing to be honest.
Origins will introduce a new Hero that will be included in Season 3.
However, doesnt seem clear as to whether Origins will air before or after season 2.

Origins will air at the end of season two, to keep fans hooked as there will be a longer than usual break in between seasons. The break this time round will be filled with graphic novels, online content (both through the 360 experience and various videos on the heroes website at nbc.com) and even some real world events(scavenger hunt  ).
That lot will probably be all up for including origins in the tv thread, at the time, at let them, if they have managed to keep up. From what I've read lately, alot of it direct from Kring and Loeb (creator and chief writer respectively) folks who follow the comics and do the 360 stuff are the only ones who are going to understand this show properly, especially now the focus moves entirely to these mediums instead of tv.

My take on Linderman's little speech was more than Petrelli snr had power, not a power specifically. We know that Petrelli snr worked with the company right in the very beginning, as did Hiro's father, who like Linderman talked about friends losing their way. I'd like to see a few graphic novels on this actually, the early days of the company, it's original aims, etc.....

I'm in the minority Stu, but I agreed with Kring and Loeb that Heroes was much more than just a TV show, more of a multi-media experience, so felt everything should just go in the one thread. Others didn't agree.
Tbf, Kring and Loeb are only the creator and chief writer respectively, it's not like they are an authority on Heroes.

Gav, we could be here all day talking about the finer points of why we're right, but lets not bother eh? Else we'll end up having the other guys coming in here arguing and it won't end up working the way it should.
