semi-loose-passive/aggressive - slightly loose and passive preflop and aggresive postflop. You need a big sample size of course to judge what you really are.
On the forum you found, look at the sticky about newbie guide. You want the one that is on the bet-the-pot site, because it's great.

According to that guide, I can bring up game time plus (GT+) by clicking on one player at the table then GT+. Is GT+ the same as Game Time, a tab from the database screen?

Darkhorse, that is not really a bad beat nor is it bad play on his part, he had a set of Qs for Christ's sake. Annoying that you got sucked out on but he had a lot of outs - 1xQ, 3xK, 3xJ on the turn then the same again plus 3 more on the river.
Okay, apologies on the incorrect use of the term. Was very happy to flop the nut straight and have 2 all ins before me, but I thought to myself "This is too good to be true"
The reason it annoyed me so much was because I was going out, to watch Spurs Newcastle, and was intending to leave my comp running while I was out, if I had won the hand, I would have had about $180k in chips and would probably have been able to finish in the money without playing the rest of the tournament.
I didnt mean to accuse him of bad play, but I understand now that is what meant by a bad beat, ie the opponent plays the hand really badly, or chases something stupid, and hits it to win the hand. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Well a bad beat doesn't have to be from bad play, all I wanted to highlight was that you didn't suffer that bad a beat. Possibly pointless but learning A)to accept bad beats and B) to work out % are both important poker skills

Just played an amusing hand on VC (6 handed cash table). Like The_Bends I was raising a lot of hands cause I knew it was annoying people. Anyway I picked up 3 6 of hearts in the big blind. First position raised it to 3*BB with three other callers, I called. Flop came 4 7 J all hearts!! I bet out $20 (pot was $22 or so) and two others called me. Knowing the table I knew one had the ace of hearts and the other either J with a good kicker or an overpair. Next card was jack of clubs. Bit of a scare card considering the FH possibilites but I figured I'd have been reraised on the flop if someone had a set. Bet out $20 again (probably not enough I know) but two callers again. Flop was a rag, 4 spades or something so I fired out a final bet of $20. They both called.
One turned over two black aces and the other 7d Ah Cue a $199 pot and fountains of abuse thrown at me.

No. GT+ is a tool that you can dl for free (link in their forum) that allows players (Including you) stats to overlay on the table you are playing.
It also displays the auto ratings of players if you have that set up.
If you want to add me to msn so you can ask any questions on this then ask me my addy in the mods room or you could use irc, irc.irchighway.net channel #poker

It means you see between 20 and 30% of flops (semi loose), have a pre-flop raise % less than 5% (the first passive) and have an overall aggression factor post flop over 2 (which is calculated as (times bet + times raised)/Times Called.
I'm rated as tight aggressive aggressive (moneybag icon :cool which conventional wisdom states is where you want to be...although at pacific you can probably get away with being semi-loose.

That is all well and fine if Serps is using the same numbers for auto rating. I known mine is different from what you have just said.
