I just watched the first episode of "Tilt" which is a poker based drama popular in the US. It seems pretty interesting, although I'm n ot sure how I fell about the portrayal of poker players as a bunch of pistol wielding low moraled scum of society.

i was up to 17k by the first break, then lost a 30k pot with AA v a flopped set with KK and never got back from that, getting bust out not soon after the break started again

Heh, I wouldn't have been happy if I was the Betfred folk anyway, Landora were dominating.

Did you know any of the landora boys? Think I signed up to it but was so drunk on the Saturday night I can't really remember.

yeah, the guy that was doing all the signups was one of keeles non student players, i was wearing a landora top on friday and sunday as well.

Just played a 1 bbp buy in game (big time, I know ) and won \o/

Started off slowly but bluffed a couple of hands to keep me in the game and got the odd victory. Went down to the last 2 as chip leader as the previous hand I won quite a bit with QQ55 (Q5 in pocket, paying big blind). After a bit of sparring the other bloke was getting in the game a bit chipping down my lead so I went all in with 55 in pocket, he followed with 57 and luckily the communal cards didn't do him any favours and I won \o/

Might have been one of the twins (blonde hair) who got 11th place Elliot.

Just came 2nd in the VC student freeroll from 264 runners! Pretty gutted i didn't win cause I want to go to London. Another chance next week i suppose.
