right...so I've been playing $5 SNGs the last fortnight and turned $24.90 into $202.40 in 55 tournaments (54 NLHE, 1 Omaha H/L). I got in the money 27 times, winning 11, second in 9 and third in 7. Return on investment was over 55%.

Now to fall flat on my arse in the $10 games. It's very likely...I'm aiming for $600 here

First $10 game didn't look good...turned into a total crapshoot with 6 players left. Any sites where the blinds don't go quite so skyward?

How did people get on in that student thing then? My pal was involved in an amazing hand with about 16 players left, he flopped a set of 8's and the other guy a set of kings. They were the two chip leaders of the tournament probably at the time. All the chips went in on the flop and an eight came on the turn to give him quad 8's. Was unbelievable. That gave him quarter of the total chips in play. He then proceeded to waste it with the worst play i've ever seen and finish 11th.
