A quick heads up guys, Rounders is on BBC1 tonight at half 11. From what I remember of it, it's pretty awesome as far as poker movies go. OK, it's no Maverick, but it's bloody good.

Maverick is the worst poker film ever. 'Big hand for a little lady' is fb however.

I was of course talking about rounders and not maverick. The last hand in Maverick drives me conkers.

I raise with AK in early position and get two callers. Flop comes A T T. I bet the flop, both call. I bet the turn, one raises the other rerasies, I fold as one of them is playing A T for sure. They cap the river too and both turn over AT. This has been happening almost every hand I play.

Arghh.

Surely I have to get paid soon?

Playing 67s from the button earlier in an unraised pot, the flop comes K 6 6. Everyone checks, as do I as it was rainbow. The turn is a 7. First to act bets, another calls, as do I. The river is another 7. GASH. Sure enough I split the pot with a mid position player holding T 7 off suit.
