yeah, im going to tell a sickbeat story. i think its justified.

on VC this afternoon i qualified for the VC Poker Cup satelite in a STT, its a $198 rebuy with first getting a £5k seat into the VC Poker Cup and $2.5k, second got change, which was $1.7k in the end. I had an excellent rebuy stage, didnt have to rebuy or topup and as there was only 36 players in it, made the final table fairly easily. couple of hands and a J8s v AQo sickbeat and i find myself 3way and holding my own against two excellent players. after a long time, I'm second in chips and have third barely covered, the chipleader has about 45% of the chips. I get QQ on the button, and the BB, third in chips moves in. I call, he shows 88. blanks on the flop, Q on the turn, club on the river, completing a flush for him. I bust out soon after, that crippled me. pretty devastating really.

came third in the $5k gtd, $18 rebuy at about the same time, but also as I was a massive chipleader at some point was gutted to come third. great and horrible day at the same time.

Not for as much money as Bowker's but my bankroll rebuilding was derailed slightly by three bad beats happening on all three of my tables at the same time

KK vs J9s to know me out of a tourny right near the money.
QQ vs A7s to lose me $30
Ak vs A10 to lose a further $25

I liteally clicked all in, next table, all in next table, all in, back to first table lost, second table, lose, third table lost. Cruel game sometime. However I'm sure the friday night drunken rush will make up for it.

Oh and I should mention that the overall picture is still good. $190 in on Wednesday, now stands at $303.

Then, the my usual last hand that I always seem to pull...

Am I missing something or is that a split pot where you got lucky on the river? Really knackered so could be overlooking something obvious....
