So yeah, I now haven't played poker for a week now hoping that I can get my tournament play concentration back up to scratch in time for the WSOP rnd 3 next week.

Do you think this was a good idea or do you think that I am stupid and it could affect my play negatively?

I almost felt sorry for this guy in the end...$5 SNG on Bet365 again:

Two early position callers with me on the big blind. I have KK so chuck in 5x BB into the mix. One fold, one call as I'd expect early in a single-table game.

Flop: KKT

I check, he checks

Turn: A (surely the dream card?)

I check, he checks (crap )

River: 4

Great...if he hasn't got an ace or the will to represent it I'm stuffed, but I'll chuck in a pot-sized raise anyway. He reraises all-but-all-in...I ask him politely to put his remaining chip or two in and he shows pocket 4s. He caught his full house on the river after seeing a whole bunch of overcards and gets knocked out by quads

For the past week I've been playing with a freezing cold deck, in my last two PSO events I've finished behind MrTiLt. Though it looks as though my luck may just have changed.

Buy-In: $20.00/$2.00 152 players
Total Prize Pool: $3040.00
Tournament started - 2005/03/21 - 16:05:00 (ET)

Following on from Yorkie, I just won an online tourney to get me into a 10 seater final in June, live in London. Winner gets £10,000 + a £5,000 seat in the London Open. Also I'll be interviewed by FHM on the day
