This bonus chasing at absolute is driving me bonkers...

After about 1500 hands I've cleared $90 of my $250 bonus...my net profit is $91.63 (or +0.815BB) or some such....not exactly crushing the game. On top of that, the software is pretty darned ugly.

I was doing quite well but got dran into a big hand which ultimately beat me. I had A10, the bloke AA. The flop turned up another A and the river a 10, but obviously AAA > AA1010

Keep it up Moreclaw, it took me a month or so of playing 2 freerolls a day on there for me to finish in the money, now I have won 2 freerolls and numerous STT's. And its a great feeling when you finally finish in the money.

Yeah, im pleased with the way my progress is going, but my weakness is I absolutely hate folding when i've got a decent amount of money in the pot. Doesn't sound radical, but i'll throw the baby out with the bathwater; If I had stepped back, cut my losses and played conservatively i'd almost certainly have finsihed in the top 27, but I go all in with a hand that was decent enough, but at that stage of the game it wasn't worth the risk.

I'll keep plugging away and with a bit of luck i'll keep improving my final positions :thup:

Yeah, that close to the money, when you get a hand like A 10 you need to decide wether you are playing for 1st, or 27th.

Well my judgement will improve with experience with any luck. Patience was never my strongest point
