thanks neil for the advice, im mainly just having fun so im not too worried about it. I was thinking exactly what you said about my hand being the underdog since I had no help after the flop.

ended up getting 6th because 4 of the other players kept folding each time and wouldn't play, so should have gotten 2nd but the others wouldn't play

The guy normally checks it quite a lot I think, I think they might be having a tournament this Monday or Wednesday. Not sure though, I can't play in them. haven't had a moan about bad beats for a while...

obviously, you want as many fish on your table as possible in cash games, but do they have to be so lucky....

in the space of 5mins... all in preflop with AA guy calls with Qd7d... hits his flush.... then end up all in again (for a full complement of chips) against the SAME GUY... on the flop this time... TT5 flop... i hold AT... he calls with 8T.... 8 on the river. and yes, he'd called a preflop raise too :p

i'm going to bed to either cry or scream now.

I know how you feel TopToffee, I'm playing in the easiest table of my life here ($2/$4 limit) and the players are awful. I'm even on my money but I should be up about $200 if it hadn't been for some awful beats.
