I had a bye through the first round, then was paired up against a poor player that i could keep picking off small pots from, but could never get value on my hands. he hardly bet, even when he flopped trips with KK he check called and checked it down with me, i took ages to wear him down and wouldn't have been unhappy to lose that and give up because more of that would have been much too painful. the next three were fairly similar, fairly weak and passive, but their luck wasnt as great as the first guy, they were all very easy to read and i just called bluffs and overbet the river when i was strong and got paid off.

as for testing my poker skills it was one of my easier wins, but it was mentally tough to get through these players without dying of boredom.

i think we've got USA Team 2, Brazil, Sweden and Costa Rica in the group stages, i have no real idea of my or the teams chances
