Yet another 2nd place finish tonight. 10->2 stuff happened, blah blah blah, nothing of great interest.

Heads up against a good player, pretty sure I've got him nailed though. We go back and forth for a bit, I get an edge of about 4:1. He goes all in with J9s I call with a pair of 3s, board comes to counterfit my pair and his J kicker wins it. So I now have him by 3:2 we get it in again, my A8 vs his 109, my eight hits but so does his 9 so I'm crippled. I get it all in with a flush draw and hit to get back to a stack of 14k vs his 24k. We get it in again him with 10,7 me with a pair of 7s. A Ten hits to send me home.

Great game again tonight (best I've played here) but for Gods sake, I have now lost heads up 3 times in a row with the best hand going in and having been out drawn at least twice before I get short. I really would love to improve my heads up game but quite frankly I have played well. The first one I maybe deserved to lose but the last two have been flawless. Ah well tis the game I suppose.

Don't you just hate it when you find a great table full of weekend players with the worst on your right who has played 80% of his hands and you just cannot get a break? I have been sat here for a few hundred hands and I am hardly hitting a thing. I haven't had a big pocket air for what seems like an eternity.

I am hardly picking up small pp's and I think AJ has been my biggest Ax hand on one table.

Nah it was limit ring...I haven't touched no limit in about a month tbh.

I'm more annoyed becaue, on reflection, I think I misplayed the turn when he raised my bet. Should've known this guy didn't have a flush owing to the fact he would have raised a flush draw on the flop as sure as eggs is eggs. That, combined with my redraw to the nut flush,I probably shoud have three bet instead of going into call down mode.

Course when I saw the outcome I went on insta tilt for a bit.
