Rounders tourneys on bet365. All 10-seat tables

Start with a $5 buy-in

Round 1: Top 2 go to round 2
Round 2: Top 2 go to round 3; 3rd gets another crack at round 2
Round 3: Top 4 go to round 4; 5th gets another shot at round 3
Round 4: Top 5 go to round 5
Round 5: Top 4 receive $3000, $1200, $800 and $500

Round 1 standard is normal bet365 standard (meaning I have 3 round 2 entries from 4 attempts tonight)

I'll try to turn them into a round 3 entry or two tomorrow

I've been on a terrific run of late, playing a lot more live poker and came 2nd in the University championship the other day. Just had an incredible 1st hand in a tournament there.

It was the £7000 guarenteed tournament at William Hill, £10 entry. I was in first position in the first hand of the tournament and got dealt AA. Raised it to 80 (4*BB), guy to my left called and a mid-position raiser raised it to 220. The guy to his left called, and then the SB went all in for 1500 chips! Perfect I thought, so I fired them all in. The guy to my left then went all in! The mid-position original re-raiser folded (must have been a big fold) and so did the guy to his left.

So there was a three-way pot for 4950. SB turned over JJ, as I suspected really, and the guy to my left had K5 of hearts?? A jack came on the flop and it was over for me. Fun hand though! I just laughed and went straight to a STT to tilt it up.;

Not played much poker this week myself. Decided to play some sngs tonight as I wasn't in the mood for cash games. So opened 4 100+9 nl tables at party and got a 1st and 2nd. The tables were looking really soft as usual on a Friday night so I played two $215 sngs, won one and 4th in the other. Nice profit after taking a few days off.

Seen the Friday Special was about to start so decided to play that. 846 entrants for a $169,200 prize pool. Wouldn't mind the 40k first prize

Grrrr. I was on a roll tonight. Chip leader twice, but didn't win. I went out stupidly. I time my opponent would bet I would read them correctly, but I still bet

Oh, Stephen bet 300 on the flop. Two pair for sure. And guess what; 2 pair for him 1 for me. Hmmm, Amanda bet on the river after a queen showed up. I bet she has Queens and 4s(River was a four). Sure enough, Queens and 4s. Don't know why I didn't trust my feelings, but it cost me tonight

So what you guys recommend for someone quite new to the game to play on? Bet365 or Partypoker?

It seems that some of you play on one some play the other.

Finished 2nd in a WSOP Rnd 2 today for another $130 and another Rnd 3 place. :thup:

I play on Pokerpages so would suggest there. Others will say elsewhere so it'll be trial and error for you I think.

You should sign up for a bet365 account. There are $1000 freerolls at 16:00 and 18:45 and a $5000 freeroll 19:00 tonight.
