No you're right, players should choose who they want to play for internationally, then we could have an England side featuring the next Fabregas and Italy having the next Shevchenko, and myabe countries could transfer players too? we could set up a league system and everything!

He's EU. Barring him from working where he's wanted and where he wants to is illegal if done on grounds of his nationality, and football's going to have to get with the programme soon.

I'd have no problem with him playing for England. If he feels English enough, he probably is English enough.

Playing for a national select XI isn't his job, and no-ones restricting which club he plays for.

Did his cruciate, so should be back sometime in the spring, probably March.

I think the bigger question over Foster is simply how good he actually is. He's shown a lot of potential, but there's a lot of goalkeepers who look great playing for bottom three clubs while shots are raining in, but struggle when they move up a level. He also made a few real howlers towards then end of last season which have been a bit glossed over.

Not saying he won't be great, just that it's not the foregone conclusion that a lot of Utd fans seem to be claiming.
