Just to inform new registrees about teams - you don't HAVE to be in one. Sure, you'll get some money back each season, but the biggest reasons are simply to increase the friendly rivalry, and possibly race with your own team livery if they have 6 supporters or more |

I currently have no sponsors, at the moment I don't have enough money but when I do would it be worth spending money on commercial centre (I don't know how much these cost) just to try and help my cause or would it be better putting money toward a better car. I have no chance of staying up but will fight as hard as I can, I am probably deluding myself greatly though.

| With the right driver you should be able to stay up
As said before - I personally wouldn't spend any money on facilities until your status in amateur is secure, as if you go back down then they're taken away from you and it will have been wasted money which you could've spent on improving your car / signing a faster driver, etc...
If you ever become flush with money, then the commercial centres should probably be first to help your negotiation progress. Level 1 is $3mil, Level 2 $6mil...

| San has supposedly purchased some credits that will push us (Ohhh Teee F1) up to 5, and then Gordon should be getting some more through referrals which we're hoping he can pass onto one of the non-supporters to to push us up to 6 |

I'm going to try and get more involved this season. Depending on how much the game has changed in terms of overtaking, sponsors etc.
If its all the same i might just plod along again only logging on to qualify etc.
It'll be interesting to see how many total participants per race will stay at this season, with there being no major addons to the current league structure.

I was in the process of writing a similar post but then it got busy at work. Basically just what you said. He's got Firman so driver certainly isn't an issue (although salary may be!). I think this could be an odd year in Amateur especially with so many Rookies who weren't necessarily ready to promote.
If he can invest in car level then Firman should be able to do the rest, at least for a couple of points.
