Couldn't find another thread on this and with Ricky now in Vegas I thought it was time to get something going on this.

Cant wait for this fight personally. Its got all the ingredients.

2 Undefeated fights,
Ricky Hatton - 43-0 (KO 31)
vs
Floyd Mayweather - 38-0 (KO 24)

If you havent seen the build up, its been surrounded by taunting, name calling and general school boy antics but behind the media hype, there is a real contest there to be fought.

'Pretty Boy' Mayweather is undoubtedly a great fighter, champion at 5 divisions, he is the man to beat in boxing. But Hatton shouldn't be underestimated. British hearts will hope/feel Hatton can win, as do I. But whats guaranteed is a toe-to-toe fight with neither man wanting to fall.

I think it'll go to points, my heart says Ricky can do it, but my head is still clouded with doubt purely because Mayweather has beaten far more top level fighters in the big arenas.

Anyone else been following this/intend to watch this on the night?

What are your thoughts? Mayweather claims to be better then Ali and all the rest, I just pray Hatton can wipe that smile off his face...

Think it will be close but with Hatton moving up for this i think it tilts it a little further towards Mayweather, who is of course, class

Just do what Im doing. Get a house/flat with sky/virgin and get it on ppv. Only 15 quid which spread amongst you is peanuts conisdering you can get beers in on the cheap compared to 2-3 quid a pint you'd pay at the pub. We've got a pizza/poker night going on in the evening with the pre fights (Amir Khan fights in the UK earlier on) going on to get the chatter going!

Anyone know what time the Hatton fight is scheduled to start at? Basically planning on doing the exact same thing as SSC...
