I must admit that on second listen of Fickle Cycle (this time with video safely hidden on another tab) I can see the resemblance to Grass, nevertheless still I look at all the tags on the relevant last.fm page with mild bemusement.
Main differences are that there aren't random samplings thrown in, Avey Tare's vocals also so much more marked instead of taking a back seat to whatever's going on behind him. Can also roughly discern the individual components, so I don't get the eh was that vibe after a song.
